Why zsnes dont' launch myu neo-geo roms? What emulator should i use?

zsnes is for super nintendo (aka snes) games.

apt-cache search neogeo will give you gngeo which claims to be a neo geo emulator. I have no clue how well it works, so you're welcome to come back here and tell us.

Yes gngeo IMHO sucks. I tried running my several neo-geo games wich run on any emu on Windoze and it keeps asking for files even after pointing it to the right dir direction. Boy do I miss King of Fighters - Garou: Mark of the Wolves .

After doing some brief research, I can't find any other alternative neo_geo emulators for ya :(

Are you using the newest version of neocd/sdl - http://pacifi3d.retrogames.com/neocdsdl/neocd030linux.tgz

download "neogeo bios" from "http://www.dragonport.net/emuladores/neogeo.php"

unzip the files in "/usr/share/gngeo"

Advancemame can do it just fine =) I've played garou mark of the wolves, samurai shodown series, super dodge ball, king of fighters series etc.

There is xmame in synaptic, but the verison is ancient, and I find advancemame much better :)
