Ok the driver is not loading on start up we have to fix this.

please open terminal and enter in

gksudo gedit /etc/modules
Enter your password and you should get a file that looks like this

# /etc/modules: kernel modules to load at boot time.
#
# This file contains the names of kernel modules that should be loaded
# at boot time, one per line. Lines beginning with "#" are ignored.

lp
rtc

We need to add one line at the end called b43

Like this

# /etc/modules: kernel modules to load at boot time.
#
# This file contains the names of kernel modules that should be loaded
# at boot time, one per line. Lines beginning with "#" are ignored.

lp
rtc
b43

then PROOF READ
then save and close gedit then go back to the terminal.

enter in

sudo modprobe b43

then if you have wireless great if not enter in

sudo modprobe dell_wmi

Now you should have wireless if not.

reboot then post

dmesg | grep b43

Thanks (and you are almost there)
