I posted the following at MepisLovers forum (I dual boot Mepis 6 beta and Ubuntu 6.06) and I thought I would drop it here as well. If you can help these guys out, it could be the breakthrough that linux gamers need.

PS, no affiliation with this group, I am just very interested in the project.

I wish I had some programming skills, :( this looks like a very promising project. I hope it works out, it would be awesome for the gaming community.

I would LOVE to see this work, especially if it supported any program. I could ditch windoze completly.

Wow, this is interesting. High end gaming is difficult, but just getting small programs like CPU-Z to work would be awesome :)

this looks not only very interesting, but difficult! It's a whole new approach, the idea of converting the binary itself rather than creating a compatibility layer for existing executables... would require a great deal of knowledge and intuition on the subtleties of machine code.

I only wish I could help...
