Simple question but I have searched and not been able to find an answer. What do 'beans' represent?

Sorry, I didn't mean to post in the wrong place but where should I ask this? In the support forums?

He means the Beans counts posts in areas other than community areas. So if you post in a help forum then you get a bean. Posts in general chat areas don't count.

Are you sure? I have 40+ posts in the forums and I only have 25 beans or something. I think when you post at the Ubuntu Cafe you don't get any beans...

I've just tried coffee for the first time today (I want to be awake in five hours' time, but I was already feeling groggy) and it kicks ***! I should get an extra bean for this or something...

I'm trying to keep my coffee consumption down. Back in my student days, I used to make poisonously strong coffee to get me through reading/writing sessions...so ever since I've been tapering off slowly.

But then, I've noticed that they sell yerba mate in my town, and I'm thinking I might want to try that out.

Yep ;)...It's madness. The title and the bean stuff shouldn't be taken serious. It's just to adding some fun :)
