I'm trying to set up a kiosk on Ubuntu 12.04

The problem is that when using the touchscreen, the mouse always behaves as if you are dragging instead of just moving it. The touchscreen can't differentiate between a click and a move.

One workaround may be to only fire mouse click events on mouse up, instead of the mouse down. We would lose the ability to drag, but could be a worthwhile trade off.

1. How is Ubuntu 12.04 configured so that only mouse-up events cause a mouse click?

2. Is there a utility which would enable runtime toggling of mouse click by either mouse-down or mouse-up ?
