Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with a fresh install of Ubuntu server on a HP Proliant DL380 G4. I already created a Raid 5 Virtual disk and when I boot to the cd for installation everything seems to begin smoothly. Once the installation gets to "Detecting Network Hardware" it reaches 100% and then the box disappears with nothing else left on the screen but a purple background. I have tried leaving it go for over an hour just thinking that maybe I was being inpatient but it still stays at that screen. Is there something that I need to do differently for this server configuration that I am unaware of? I would like to get this up and running ASAP if at all possible because I would like to install Zenoss to monitor our network beginning this weekend. Thank you in advance for any answers/suggestions you may have.
