Hello everybody, as in the subject, I got some problems with my HP G62 64 BIT, ATI HD 4350 and Ubuntu 12.04 with Gnome 3.4.

My PC's temperature goes over and the fun always runs over the normal speed. When I try to switch off the computer, it doesn't shut down too.

Can anybody help me? :(

Also try cleaning out the vents for the system too.

hey, look here, maybe your problem comes from the graphic card

I tried flashing the BIOS with a newer version and it seems working better but not at all! I'll try to follow the graphic card post, cause maybe you are right! Thank you very much!;)

after having installed the ati catalyst it seems working better (now I can switch off the laptop correctly) but vents go faster than they usually go when I'm logged in my Windows 7.

Any other advices?

Thanks in advance.
