I have upgraded from 11.04 to 11.10 then to 12.04
Wireless was working fine on 11.04 but nothing for the next two releases.
Really need to get the wireless working, cant revert back to 11.04 will only have wireless access when travelling.
Plugged in right now.

the laptop is a Compaq Presario CQ57 with a RTL8188CE 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter
cant get the wireless light to turn on by pressing f12 on/off key
