I heard that Windows 7 is able to run two different graphics drivers side by side so that you can have different graphics cards running their own individual sets of monitors on the same machine. Can Ubuntu do this?
Here's what I want to do. I have 2 monitors on my Nvidia Quadro FX580 card and I want to run a 3rd using my motherboard's on-board graphics. Is it possible to run dual drivers off of the board, or do I need another graphics card? Is it possible to run dual drivers at all, or do I need to buy another FX580 and use SLI?
