Excuse my newbness, I have just switched to Linux and am learning a ton. I just updated the proprietary NVidia driver on my laptop and after I did so I am unable to launch the GUI on bootup. It goes straight to terminal.

I've tried searching on how to remove the driver in order to get it back to the gui layer, but everything I can find is for version 11 of Ubuntu which says to configure the config x file. That doesn't seam to work.

Any help you could provide?
