Iíve a laptop running Ubuntu 11.04 and an external USB HDD (ntfs) divided in 2 partitions. They are auto-mounted when HDD is physically connected to the USB port. HDD must be accessible also by Windows (XP and v7) laptops.
I would like to restrict WRITE permission on partition1 (or at least on some sensitive folders) to all the Ubuntu laptop users except my user.
I tried, working on the graphical interface, by creating 2 groups and setting the permissions accordingly but it does not work on the HDD mounted folders.
Do anyone have suggestions ? How can I do ?
THANKS Diego
