Ubuntu promo sites

I can't believe how much of nothing is on the web about the new Ubuntu. When i first got acquainted with it, there was a beautiful purple "It's out!" screen on ubuntu.com that really made me try it out. Now only a button?
And is there a site like www.thenewubuntu.com for Precise?

It looks like a part of omgubuntu if the footer is to be believed.
