You know what, guys? We should have our own Enemy Territory server for Ubuntu users.
What do you think?

Yes, sure!
But, there should be several servers, otherwise the ping will be too high.
I live in the Netherlands and I am willing to join a Ubuntu server in the Benelux-West Germany area, or further away if the ping is low enough.
Do you have plans to create a Ubuntu Enemy Territory server in Spain with relatively high broadband? Do you need people to include some mods in the game (such as an Ubuntu logo and so on...)?
Actually, my nick in the game is "Noobuntu", so you see I want to support the creation of a Ubuntu server

I don't have any server where to run an ET server. :(

It's odd that someone would make this thread when I have intentions, in the near future(2-3 months), to purchase a dedicated server to run TeamSpeak & Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Somewhere in the USA, probably Texas or NewYork. I've never thought about other regions.
We could also probably set up special Ubuntu Forum members only competitons/matches.

Did you hear about Managed.com? I used to have some servers there for a really cheap price. They're in California.

Yeah, I've heard of Managed, Inc, in the beginining they had a badly over-used network due to their low prices & so many users.
But I would suppose they stepped up their game ever since they added a new bandwidth provider.
I'll give them a looking into.
