Hi, I am an absolute beginner and have issues with following,

1. Broadbrand connection works sometimes and sometimes it says you are disconnected from the net work

2. Tried downloading flash and other plug-in(Python) for the rhythembox, but dont know how to install it after downloading. (dont know which is the executable file)

3. in your opinion which is the most user friendly, easy compatible with MSoffice and stable?

Thanks.

1. Since you can connect to the network you have probably configured your Broadband correctly and whatever problems you may be having could be because of your broadband provider. Consult your service provider.

2. Use 'Ubuntu Software Center' to install software (It is there on your system) or better still install Synaptic Package Manager and use it to install software packages and plugins and etc,

To install Synaptic Package Manager run the following commands from the TERMINAL:

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install synaptic3. Either of the Office Suites, LibreOffice or OpenOffice is compatible with MSOffice file formats.
