Well...the title says it all.Has any of you ever tried(with success) to install Temple of Elemental Evil and run it using WINE?!
My original cd's are well damaged(thanks mom :( ) and I can't use them to install ToEE, but my luck is that the game never left my harddrive, so I do have it installed.I used a NoCD crack so I wouldn't need the original cd, and It works just fine under WinblowzXP, but I was wondering if I could get it to run on Dapper via W.I.N.E. I am trying to run it, but W.I.N.E. just exits to console.Nothing happens, no error..nothing!
According to http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?versionId=3164 ,that is what "normally" happens, since ToEE is listed as "garbage", but we all know that W.I.N.E. appdb can be wrong at times ;).
So...lemme know if I have a chance in hell to play this wonderfull game without having to reboot.
