Hey all

I'm looking for a new series to watch. My tastes are as follows:

I've seen: Rescue me, Prison break, 24, The Job, Scrubs, Big bang theory, Castle, Family guy, Southpark etc...

Does anyone had any ideas of a series to watch within the same genre? Preferably Like Rescue me, 24 and Prison break. Action-Drama.

I'm out of ideas! :D

This is good as well.

How does Touch compare to 24?

It's more sci-fi than action.

Kiefer plays a guy who is afraid of heights, if that tells you anything. I've heard it's good, though.

I've been getting into Eureka lately. Netflix has seasons 1-4, and the final season is on right now. It's a great show that is a good mix of sci-fi, action, and light comedy.

"Dead like me" there were 2 or 3 seasons and a movie, really worth your time.
I wish I saw it from beginning to end...do the movie last.

Once Upon a Time, Grimm...Grimm is great

Yeah, Grimm. The story seems to have a lot of layers, it just keeps building. The computer animation is astounding.

Also I think Alcatraz is pretty awesome. Lots of story there too, made by the same guy as Lost, with time travel and everything.

Stargate SG-1 is good (it's a sci-fi).

Also, the original Get Smart series is a good comedy.

Airwolf is also pretty good (although if you want action the action only happens at the end, the rest is pretty slow (it's an action drama; I think (pretty sure))). The first season is the best imo (also the slowest). I haven't seen much of the 2nd season and I think the 3rd season isn't on VHS/DVD/Blu-ray (not sure).

Another comedy I like is The IT Crowd.

And another comedy I like is Mr Bean (although I've only seen a few).

Also, Firefly is a great series (sci-fi western sorta thing). It didn't last long though, but it's really good.

*just listed a few series I like :P*

Futurama

I've also only heard good things about Dexter, Breaking Bad and Terriers but haven't watched them myself yet.

Totally out of the genre, I recently became absolutely addicted to Downton Abbey :D
And of course everybody should have watched Avatar: The Last Airbender once in their lifetime! :)

Stargate SG-1 is good (it's a sci-fi).

It's sci-fi but not so heavy that if you like pure action you'll get lost in the jargon. Indeed many times the joke is Carter going on about the science part, and O'Neill cutting her off with "I didn't understand any of that."

Also, Firefly is a great series (sci-fi western sorta thing). It didn't last long though, but it's really good.

If you like Castle at all, you'll love Firefly, if for nothing else the character that Nathon Fillion plays. Often in Castle he'll do shoutouts to Firefly fans with subtle or not so subtle references.

Through the Wormhole, or Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman, is an American science documentary television series narrated by American actor Morgan Freeman. It began airing on Science channel in the United States on June 9, 2010:popcorn:

Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad for Sure. Breaking Bad I believe is all on netflix but if you want to buy dvds your money will go much further with breaking bad. I bought all of them for about $20 each season. The first season of game of thrones i paid $50 on blu ray. Also Anthony Bourdain No Reservations, and Fringe are both really good shows to get into. Have you watched every single episode of lost yet?

Game of Thrones and Walking Dead are the best things on TV at the moment. Surprised to see a few recommendations for Grimm. I watched a few episodes but the characters are pretty shallow and the acting isn't great.
