Hi All,

Does anyone know of a place where you can find artwork that you can use to promote the use of Ubuntu on your website and in e-mails?

Ideally a place where you can grab some codes and the logos will update automatically from a central place..

Any ideas? Does Canonical have a thing like that? And don't start talking to me about copyright infringement :D

I'd start here:

http://design.ubuntu.com/assets/ubuntu-logo

I do remember being able to link to logos in the past--as you described, but I'm not sure if that's available anymore. On the page I linked to, you can find the page that has all the svg files and png versions.

BTW, have you actually read the trademark statement from Canonical? It's pretty interesting:

Mostly the logo rules. I understand why its there, and its not that suprising, its just I never really thought of Ubuntu as being... That rule like? on the logo ^^

LOL -- I was thinking of the famous one with the butts on it, but yep, I'm sure that's where the rules come from.

For a long time if you did a google ubuntu image search that one was on the first page of results.

When Ubuntu first came out, it was called "Porn Linux" cuz Mark wanted artsy naked people on the it, so I can't see why it would be an issue now. That was brilliant marketing.
