Hey guys, I am a rather avid, aspiring graphic designer and I absolutely love Photoshop. However, I have been rendered unable to use Photoshop. Now, I've heard of Wine but I am unsure if Photoshop has a more recent revision. I've been using CS5 Extended for 8 months now and I am scared to go over to GIMP for I am unfamiliar with the program and I am lost with GIMP; no idea what I am doing. I can live with CS3, since I know that is a viable revision of Photoshop, but I was wondering if anyone has heard of a CS5 being a viable revision for Wine.

I apologize if this is in the wrong section as well, but this seemed like the only relevant location for this.

Did you look into the test results on the Wine site for Photoshop?

Marked this as solved, but I have actually been having problems downloading this for around 4 hours straight. I don't have enough fingers to count the amount of times I re-installed/uninstalled Wine, Photoshop, etc....

Okay, so I download the Adobe Download Assistant through Safari (ran in Wine) because they don't let you download it on the site if they detect you're on Linux, so I ran Wine on Windows 2000 Safari and installed it that way. Anyways, now when I load the Assistant, it doesn't even show me anything to download. Doesn't let me click Adobe Photoshop, because it doesn't even display it. Anyone know why this is happening? Or does anyone know an alternate method? Because I've uninstalled Wine and everything, so if I should deviate from my original plan tell me now. :\
