ubuntuguide.org and easylinux.info have merged

Recently the Ubuntu guides at ubuntuguide.org (http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Dapper) and easylinux.info have merged into one resource. \\:D/ This 3rd party forum will now be used as a mechanism for community feedback for the project.

It is hoped that via feedback and discussion in this forum that ubuntuguide.org will become very community-driven and run by the people who choose to contribute to the guide.

Hey people,
The wine-repo in this ubuntuguide is too old.
Wine has chaged it to

deb http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt dapper main

So this should be changed :-)
But, nice and complete guide there!

Thanks for point that out. It's been updated.

I'm not a user of wine myself (besides Picasa), but I'd like to expand the Wine section a bit, in terms of how to run wine, what applications work with it etc.

If anyone could help that would be great.

Picasa comes with wine, so unless you really need the bleeding edge wine, Picasa's wine is very usable. Neat Image runs fine in Picasa's wine.
