Hey guys,
Thanks for all support so far, I now have Ubuntu installed but now I have another problem! I downloaded and installed Chromium but it does not appear anywhere on the desktop. I have no idea how to find it! I have checked in the software center and it definitely says installed. I am going mad!
Thanks

Did you install Chromium using the Software Center? This is the recommended method for installing most applications.
You can find Chromium by simply search for it on your Dash.
