View Full Version : [gnome] Unable to add applets to gnome panel

I have a fresh install of pinguy-os (ubuntu 11.04 natty) and there is no volume control applet or clock applet on the panel. I've tried right-clicking on the panel to add them, but the context menu that appears seems to be for an applet, not the panel itself (one of the options is "remove from panel"). Right-clicking while holding Alt or the super key doesn't display a context menu at all.
Any help appreciated, thanks!

See this link , there are some related links in the thread . Pinguy is based on Ubuntu but works a little differently. The Pinquy forum may be a better place to ask questions. http://forum.pinguyos.com/Thread-How-to-add-to-top-panel-11-04
