Empty Threads

I keep running across posts that have no author, no text, and a subject that says "No Subject" (like this one (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=195208)). What's going on?

It's junk that gets fitlered in via the mail list. The rules for that need to be tweaked.
