First i want to say that this is a very good project and make the wiFi configurations most easy , good job.:D

But, i have same problems and i don't no why, we i upgrade my distro from brezzy to dapper the gtkWiFi stoped to display the streng of the AP's and when i try to connect to some of the Ap's the connection became instable. Is this some bug due to the migration brezy to dapper ?

I have unistalled the gtkWiFi and install the new release, but i have the same problem. Maybe the problem is with my connections properties ? Could someone help me ?

Thanks (sorry about my poor English, with a bit more post wil improve ! )

Hello there.
gtkwifi 1.09 is not dapper ready.
can you post what wireless card you use? broadcom drivers should not present the signal strenght in the current version.

xhaker, could you gently tell me when we will see a Dapper version compatible with Broadcom drivers? As with Wifi Radar I can't use it. :(

fedleo, i would have to inspect the iwlist and iwconfig output of a connected broadcom chip (i have a friend with one, so don't bother).
I will release 1.10, with random fixes and dapper corrected icon paths. I'm sorry for the lack of updates, i've been dedicating my time to university.
The next big thing should have been wpa support but the current state of commandline tools is very bad. Let's give a small step forward then.

xhaker, thanks for your reply. And thanks for the support.
It's hard to use more than one wifi networks without a good applet :(
