Hi everyone,

Someone knows if exists in the Ubuntu world something like sys-unconfig tool?

This one does the following:

In the 1st boot the machine ask for root password, network configuration, start up daemons, and authentication.

I think it is a RHEL application, could be installed in Ubuntu?

This is my first thread, Thanks in advance to everyone.

Regards.
Pablo.

There's a package called "oem-config" in the repositories that might do what you want. I doubt a package of that nature made for redhat would translate well to Ubuntu.
