hi all sorry i know its friday night and this is probably a stupid ask. for some reason it seems java is playing up in firefox and my wifey cannot click on the icons on her facebook account.. the message notifications. have open jdk installed and have tried removing/installing icedtea but without any results any help would be appreciated. spill

@wild, he is asking about java, not flash ;)

As far as I am concerned, IcedTea is crap....and it is 100% broken in Firefox. Anyway, I'd recommend the actual Oracle JRE (the REAL Java package basically) and to install it over IcedTea and enable it in firefox, follow this guide:

Thanks for the suggestion..This has been done but still firefox will not allow you click to open the notifications/messages icon to view them. Also clicking on the login bar to log into my router is not working..very odd. opera is fine and so was firefox..until now :(

Hang my head in shame....should of checked the preferences in ff..turns out javascript had been disabled...
