I have Matlab installed on my workstation. I've updated the .bashrc file to include the Matlab's path, such that when I'm working at my Linux workstation's terminal in Ubuntu, I can type "matlab" from any directory and the program will start.

I'm need to run matlab remotely from my MacBook. I can ssh into to my Linux Workstation easily enough from my Mac terminal. However, when I type "matlab" to run the program remotely, I get the message "matlab: command not found". Do I need to update something else, either on my Linux machine or my MacBook pro, to run matlab remotely on my MacBook pro?
