Hi All,

I am new here. When I installed Ubuntu, it used to run very fast and still does, but its taking too long to be loaded.
I followed some instructions and installed boostchart, please let me know if you know what the problem might be.

Thanks

Hi

The bootchart image you have uploaded is unreadable.

I'm not sure what the best procedure is for getting an image of that size onto Ubuntu forums.

Maybe a MOD or ADMIN could advise.

Kind regards

Your file has been resized and is unreadable. Host it externally.

What Ubuntu version ? What operating system ? When is the last time you cleaned the system ? A whole bunch of stuff can affect boot times.

Hi Bobhuber,

The system that I am using is Ubuntu 11.10.
I have never cleaned the system. How do I clean it?

Thanks

The easiest way for a beginner is to install ubuntu-tweak.
You can download it here. http://ubuntu-tweak.com/
After downloading (version 0.6.1) right click on the file and select Open with software center.

Hi,

I used ubuntu-tweak to clean the system but the time to load has not decreased. Does anyone have other recommendations?

Thanks
