I've decided to ditch windows and go with Ubuntu. I've installed Ubuntu on my Dell laptop (E4300) and it seems like everything works except for WiFi. I tried to look around but i cannot find an instruction on how to do that. m a fairly new Linux user so any help on this topic would be great.

Did you try installing one of the "Additional Drivers?" This is probably a Broadcom wireless card that doesn't have an open source driver so an "additional" (non-open) driver must be installed after Ubuntu is done. Search Ubuntu for "additional drivers" and see if one is offered for your wireless card.

Did you check Additional Drivers as described here?

Are you using the latest version of Ubuntu 11.10 or an earlier version?
