Uninstall Cinnamon Desktop session?

I installed Cinnamon session.. Logged out of gnome 2 (fallback from Unity).

Now I'm stuck with a system I can't use. The taskbar is full of blocks , not icons. I was lucky to find Firefox so I can post here.. heh.

I have to turn the computer off by hand to shut down..

The main fun is when I restart.. It goes straight to Cinnamon without going to the log in window so I can choose gnome 2.

Any help? :)

Edit: I googled and found the purge command..

All is well.. Back to gnome 2..The beer is cold ,the world is great! :D
