Hi all, i'll try to write less I can promise!
What I have: Samsung 700z3 Laptop Ubuntu 11.10
Why I'm doing this: With standard ubuntu 11.10 kernel my touchpad doesn't work, and it burns a lot of energy. But i don't want to use 12.04 Alpha.
What I need? Understand what configuration I'm doing wrong
I'm trying to compile kernel 3.2 with different configurations.
A the end I found two configuration, On both my touchpad works well, but in one I don't have the i915 3d accelleration on the other I don't have WIFI.

I really cannot understand what are the difference between this two configuration.
