Really at a loss, have tried searching everywhere and trying different 'solutions' but nothing seems to be working at the moment. I have just made a new build HTPC with an Asrock A55M-HVS and A4-3400. I've got the latest XBMCbuntu Fusion build installed on there and last night added in a Tevii S480 dual tuner card. My understanding is that the drivers should already be in the latest kernel and all i would need to do is copy in the firmware files to /lib/firmware which I have done, both files for the S660 (the 480 card basically has 2 x 660 tuners) and also the ds3000 for the HD I beleive? The problem comes when trying to use the card. In Mythtv Setup is is giving and ERROR_OPEN message when chosing DVB card as a capture card and in Kaffeine it allows me to choose Astra for both tuners but is giving an error when trying to do a scan saying something like "no device found" (sorry , in work and can't remember the exact wording). Any ideas?

I'm tempted to try installing Mythbuntu and seeing if that helps matters.

Hi there,

I have same problem with a terratec H5..
If i use Mythbuntu, it works ... if i install Myth tv on another PC, and connect mythbox via LAN, it works ...
Sometimes when i connect the terratech when the system is running, i can get it working also .. SO something is opening the dvb ports in XMBC, wich are not supposed to!

any ideas??
