View Full Version : [ubuntu] clonigh/imaging hard disk

I currently have two hard disks in my desktop. Lets call them H1 and H2. H1 has windows 7 OS and ubuntu (/, /home and /opt). H2 has some data which is accessible to both windows and linux. Now, I have bought a new solid state drive, call it H3. I want to transfer the windows and Linux OS to this and make H1 and H3, just data disks. What would be the best way to do this.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, clonezilla works great but it will require the drive to be as large as the ones you want to clone if I remember correctly.
