quick splash question

just wondering if there is a way to change the back ground color on the splash screen ? changing the image was easy enough using gconf. can i or do i need to use gconf to change the color to ? along the same lines, is gtweak available in the universe or multiverse ?

maybe they have a hard time grasping the idea that we as ubuntu users can only get better if everybody helps everybody. i may have basic questions but if they help me now, i may be able to help somebody else down the line.....i don't know, thats just my dumb logic. ;-)
