If you go to System> Administration> Language support
you can install system wide language support for other languages there.
I hope that this helps you.

The problem is not that I don't know how to install it, it's that spanish isn't showing up as an option, many other languages are though o.o it's weird that spanish is missing, and I need it for Ibus I already have spanish installed as a language, it's just that it won't show up as a keyboard input method to install in Ibus D: is there anyway to install it by terminal?

Sorry about that misunderstanding!
I have been having a look at IBus and have been in System> Preferences> Keyboard and have found out how to change keyboard layout for Spanish keyboard but I have not been able to find a way to get Ibus to display Spanish as an option.
I will keep looking though and will get back to you if I find anything useful.

Hello,
Since this is the first, and so far only relevant, result on Google, I am bumping this old topics to report my findings:
IBus purpose is to manage input from keyboards completely different than the latin set, (like chinese).
As described in this bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/637766
The package that adds languages like french, is kinda broken. If you want to input Spanish, you are going to be better served by the system default keyboard input manager, where there is an ample repertory of languages to pick from.
