Hi,

I know this is quite OT, but now, that Apache & Eclipse work on my Ubuntu, I am looking for a GOOD xhtml/css forum. Anyone have a suggestion ?

Thanks in advance.

Why install Apache if not for (x)html, PHP, etc. ?!

I run a small message board (mostly for code development). Probably the most popular board software is VBulletin (which is what this board runs on). VBulletin is not free, however.

If you want a very nice board that is free and has a large support base, try PHPBB3 http://www.phpbb.com/

My big "project" with PHPBB3 is integrating a WYSIWYG visual editor into it so that posts can be styled exactly as the user wants without using BBCodes.

If you want to see what the custom board looks like, you are welcomed to take a look:

or register your own name and P/W.

The two big projects I'm working on are the WYSIWYG editor and a live "chatbox" on the main page. Maybe this will give you some ideas and stuff to play with.
