I have a RAID 1 array running on a 64bit machine.

Personalities : [linear] [multipath] [raid0] [raid1] [raid6] [raid5] [raid4] [raid10]
md0 : active raid1 sda1[3] sdb1[0] sdc1[1]
478611320 blocks super 1.2 [3/3] [UUU]

md1 : active raid1 sda5[2] sdb5[0] sdc5[1]
9768888 blocks super 1.2 [3/3] [UUU]

unused devices: <none>

I want to break sdc from the RAID and transfer it to another machine. I need to be able to boot the computer from that drive.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible and point me to some notes on how to do it.

Thanks

CHRIS
