hi

I got some cheap (LAMP) shared hosting, 12months for 30. I realise one gets what one pays for but still, I'd like to ask a question to the server gods. :)

Every once a month whilst viewing my site in a browser I'll get error reporting:

An error occurred in the script 'Unknown' on line 0:
Unknown: open(/tmp/sess_494hs5mhpb2ljoohp80032rno7, O_RDWR) failed: No space left on device (28)

An error occurred in the script 'Unknown' on line 0:
Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp)
and it reports all information to the browser in array format. It's pretty conclusive, i.e. it's giving lot's of information away to a malicious user. Ive omitted the information here for brevity.

The system admins claim it's a scripting error, but i think that's a cop-out really. They probably can't or can't be bothered to sort it out. Is this common with cheap shared hosting accounts?

Are my assumptions not too far off the mark?

:D
