I am extremely new to linux. I hav e installed xubuntu 10.10 on my Lenovo s10e netbook 32bit. I am being told that I need to amnually install all of the drivers. Do you have a listing of these drivers and how to install them? And if so, can you email them to me please? Thank you. Stacy

You'll only need to install a driver for any hardware that isn't just working magically. Ubuntu includes the drivers for a huge range of hardware built-in, but some things like graphics cards and wifi do sometimes need you to install a driver.

Is there anything on your machine that isn't working but should be?

I just installed it. I have been told that I at least need to find the broadcom driver.

That sounds like a wifi driver. If indeed your wifi is not working then the easiest thing to do is plug straight into your router and open up the Additional Drivers tool. It should offer you a driver to install that will sort you out.
