Thumbs-up, Ubuntu! Hoary's looking great -- nice works-out-of-the-box feeling, good KDE support, very respectable bootup speed.

I've been running hoary for about a month now, it's great! Can't wait to see everything using it. :)

just installed it on a machine at work here to use as a development webserver(yeah, yeah, not a good idea because of stability but it is not really mission critical). anyways, the new desktop is GREAT! clearlooks is awesome. i really dig the update manager. it seems there are no huge showstoppers sofar. a nice 40+ meg update waiting for you when you get it installed:) nice default splash screen.
it seems this release is more about polish than anything. the polish is great, btw.
here are some screenshots i took:

I just installed the preview version as well. Great work. Only have a couple small issues (totem isn't to cooperative at the moment). I love the fact it is running the latest and greatest gnome. I was all set to upgrade my Mandrake 10.1 to 10.2 so I could get gnome 2.8.3 .. pfft .. not now. :-D
My question is will I be able to upgrade with apt once the final version of Hoary is out or do I need to re-install??
