View Full Version : [ubuntu] Laptop Display Will Not Wake up...

but only since last week's upgrades (from Software Center).
maybe a coincidence but ever since the last upgrade the screen will remain black on my T61P. Everything was working fine before that so...who knows.
I read many threads on many sites but nothing that relates to my problem...so far...
Any help thrown to this computer savvy but noob w/Linux will be welcomed

Are you talking about suspend? You may have to hit the power button to wake it up.

Yes I'm talking about suspend...
I have done just about every tricks I have read including pressing the power button for a short while and it doesn't work...
I suspect it is Jupiter for some reason. I will uninstall it and restart my machine to see if that works.
That is not a major problem but I don't want to leave my laptop on even with a fan on...

Jupiter doesn't interact with suspend / resume.
