I know from other posts and articles that the touchscreen on the Fujitsu Lifebook B3020D is recognised as a serial device. I suspect I can get it working using setserial.... but how do I do this? Also, will trendystephen's python script come in handy? Here is a link to that article:

If somebody would be kind enough to help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.

By the way, I am using Ubuntu 11.10. I thought that might be relevant.

Same problem here. Someone gave me their old B-Series Fujitsu and I'd rather have Ubuntu on here than Windows, but can't get the touchscreen to work! I figured hardware this old would work right out of the box. If anyone has a way to get this to work, I'd be grateful for the help!

Thanks in advance!
