Seems to work fine mostly except for a few issues.
Heres a link to the exact specs for this machine(it has the newer c60 and hd 6290 cpu gpu combo)
http://www.mytoshiba.co.nz/products/computers/nbseries/nb550d/pll5fa-02f02c/specifications#details

Sleep
Hibernation
Fn keys> some work but not all and specifically the wireless on off function i need.
Also i want to have 2 finger scrolling working.

Also I am interested if anybody has any opinion with regard to 10.04 and battery life for these machines.

Thats about all i can think of for now. if anybody has any solutions or starting point i will be greatful.
I don't seem to find too many trouble shooting threads for these machines.

Thanks in advance.

I changed to 11.04(don't like unity or the option available in 11.10), And still same issue.
I really need suspend and hibernate to work properly! This is a REAL let down for ubuntu...
I am googling and will continue to do so.

Any help would be great.
