Hello,
Im considering a purchase of this Desktop to install ubuntu 8.04 LTS but i can't find any indication that it supports ubuntu 8.04 LTS, do anyone has successfully installed it in this machine?

Ubuntu 8.04 is not supported any more and it's use could be dangerous because there are no updates to plug the security holes. Furthermore you could find problems in the hardware integration, because your new computer has components not existing the year 2008 in which 8.04 was developed.

Would also like to add that my experience with HP desktops is that they use a lot of rebranded components -- meaning -- that finding drivers for them could present a major challenge.

If you want to go with the earliest LTS just go with 10.04.
