Did you post the wrong link or something? Whats wrong with MS wanting to enable its users to save documents in PDF format? Loads of other programs can do it?

They dont want them to be able to save in PDF's they want to make their own pdf since adobe, quite rightly so, dont want to give away their software for free. Yes its true the open source world makes PDF's but NOT using the technology that adobe made, its back engineered to the same format standard but is by no means a true PDF file even tho the end user would never know.

Microsuck is betraying yet another set of people

they are taking it out from the menu because adobe is charging more to use their tech...which will increase the office price....so they might make their own...and sue adobe....

Why are the complaining that people could open a PDF exported from Word and read a Word document without owning the MS Office suite? News to them, I can open, and modify .doc files created with their precious word... they have to be aware of Open Office...
