sd-card mounts but is not visible

hi there - please do not be angry, because i have an olde problem.i ve looked around, but no solution, probably easy to help me with an obvious trick:

problem: can not read my sd card

sd card is mounted and recognised, i tried all commands

BUT : sd-card reader does not show up in nautilus or other, how can i access my files on the sd card?

no reply? I guess forums are not anymore what they had been before.


anyway i solved the problem with the help of a good friend - and he had an apple mac.

apple mac, stick it in, recognises drive, shows the fotos that i could not access - Thanks!

also

apple mac, suggests to fix problem, OK, fixed problem - Thanks!


now the card works again in ubuntu, a system that i much more prefer, still...
