word prediction software

Does anybody know of a word prediction application for Ubuntu? I have previously used a graphical application (Dasher, I think) but it was not wp software as I know it!

I have used Telepathic and Pen Friend in Windows, and have the amazing KeyStrokes on my Intel Mac desktop at home.

I have installed Ubuntu on a Hi-Grade G6000 laptop for my Mum following the demise of her Mac G5, so I would like to put some word prediction software on it for myself if possible.

I do not use this type of software. What I do use it Artha (http://www.googlubuntu.com/results/?cx=006238239194895611142:u-ocqbntw_o&q=artha&sa=Search&cof=FORID:9), its in the software center.
