I have had two previous multi-function printers hooked up to my laptop, and could get both printing and scanning fine.
I recently purchased an Epson SX445W and installed the drivers from www.avasys.com
The scanner is not being picked up at all, I've tried XSane and the default scanning software.
I didn't get any error messages when installing drivers, and printing works fine (except printing via wi-fi, but that's a different thread)
Can anyone suggest what I can try?
