View Full Version : [ubuntu] Question about JPG Meta Data

I have some jpgs created by a scanner.
These do not have the timestamp attribute on them in their metada and it makes them difficult to work with.

Is there a tool that I can use to work with to add a timestamp (sometimes years ago) easily? Any examples of how to do it?

Thanks for your help.

Don't ask me if it works under Wine.

exiftool will let you read & write the exif information. i think a lot of picture managers have that functionality too. fspot does, probably shotwell too or whatever is default now
