Hello Everyone,

I am a complete beginner when it comes to Linux in general, so bear that in mind if my question seems a little dim, or something like that. Anyway, I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 using the Gnome 3 Shell and I've been playing with the Alpha for the gnome global menu, which I've got to work I just have an issue with where the menues used to be in the windows. There's now this kind of unformatted blank bar:

Any ideas? Cheers folks XD

It's a bug, happens to almost everyone that uses GNOME 3 Global Menu.

it can crash GNOME Shell and you'll encounter bugs, including a bug that causes the windows for which the menu has been hidden to display a small gap where the menu used to be (this can be somewhat avoided by using a theme for which the gap is smaller, like Elementary for the titlebar and Zukitwo or Evolve GTK);--WebUpd8 (http://www.webupd8.org/2011/11/install-gnome-shell-global-menu-in.html)
