Hello,
I was wondering if there is a virtual block device which scans a harddisk an marks bad blocks.
The problem is that I want to use encryption on the harddrive, but I cannot use filesystems with built in bad block scanning, since the encryption may juggle blocks around. This would end in a harddrive that would have bad blocks all over the place.
Any ideas?
